For each chargeability area the left hand column shows the priority dates that are current. Any priority date before the one shown is eligible to receive an immigrant visa in that category; the right-hand column shows the number of days that it took the priority date to become current. The number of days required to become current is the approximate number of days that a beneficiary should expect to wait to become eligible to receive an immigrant visa in that category.
