on a flat fee, for immigration matters, rather than on an hourly, basis.
Fees in each case reflect the individual facts presented, the urgency of
the client’s problem, and the anticipated time and skill required to
achieve the client’s goals. An initial retainer is required for the firm
to accept the case. The balance is billed either on the basis of the
completion of the various stages of the case or on budgetable equal
monthly payments. The following are standard fees charged for some of the
more common cases.

L-1 Visa Petition
The legal fee for L-1 petition
(fees are payable by either the company or the transferee) is $1,350. $675
is payable in advance of the services. The remainder of the legal fee is
due upon completion of the work. The BCIS (a.k.a INS) filing fee in a standard
individual L-1 case is $130. miscellaneous expenses (Federal Express,
photocopying) - approx. $35 to $50.
L-2 change of status
(dependent): The legal fee of $180 is charged for all eligible
dependents if filed with the principal’s L-1 Visa petition; the Filing
fee is $140; additional expenses Fedex and photocopying: approximately
$25.

Employment based Permanent Residence through a labor certification process is a long and often complicated process.
