Processing Times For Alien Labor CertificationsNew Item

Family Priority Date/Visa AvailabilityNew Item

This table provides the most recent processing times for the four BCIS (a.k.a INS) service centers: Vermont (VSC); Nebraska (NSC); Texas (TSC); and, California (CSC). These processing centers handle most of the applications and petitions involving non immigrants and the initial processing for immigrant visas and related benefits.

The column identified by the service center acronym shows the receipt date (the date on which the application or petition was logged in by the BCIS (a.k.a INS) Service Center) of the applications or petitions that are being processed currently (the date shown in the Report Date row). Next to each Service Center column is a column showing the estimated number of days that a given application or petition has been pending. Some Service Centers divide the processing times according to different types of requests with in a particular application or petition. In those cases we use the earliest receipt date for the that petition or application. The information contained here is as reported by the Service Centers to the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
