Confidential consultations may be scheduled by our assistants. Consultations are provided by telephone or in-person. Copies of all documents relevant to immigration status, including

• passport

• I-94 Arrival/Departure Card

• previous submissions to or decisions by administrative agencies such as U.S. Department of Labor, the Immigration Service or the Immigration Court

• curriculum vitae (resume)

should be sent, either by overnight mail or by fax, to the firm’s office prior to a telephone consultation. If you are visiting our office for your consultation, please bring your documents to the meeting.

The fee for a consultation with Samuel McTyre is $250 for a thirty minute consultation.

The purpose of an immigration consultation is to provide the attorney with the information necessary to analyze all immigration options, including the cost of obtaining the desired results. A fee for each option, based on the facts presented, will be quoted during the consultation, or within twenty-four hours. The consultation fee is credited towards the total fee if the firm is retained within 10 days of the consultation.

The need for research, letters or telephone calls to investigate and evaluate a case may require more than thirty minutes. Under those unusual circumstances, Mr. McTyre’s time will be charged at the standard hourly rate of $350 per hour.
