Samuel McTyre established his private law practice in 1984. He has practiced with partners and as sole practitioner for forty years. His current practice is with McTyre Gutierrez, a professional limited liability company registered in the District of Columbia and the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Fairfield University in Connecticut awarded McTyre a BA in History. In 1982 he received the Juris Doctor degree from George Mason University School of Law where he was an active member of the International Law Society and the Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity. The following year he was admitted, by examination, to the practice of law, in the District of Columbia.
